The COVID-19 crisis has changed virtually every aspect of our daily lives since early 2020, including how we vacation and relax.  Wild Yough Glamping owners Dan and Beth take great pride in opening the Glamping Site each season, doing a deep clean and adding new personal touches and features for our guests to enjoy.   We do this as often as possible given the international travel restrictions which have come into play.

However, we are very fortunate to have a great partnership with Offlake Rentals and Realty (OLR).   As soon as Maryland gave the go-ahead for rental properties to begin operating again, Offlake Rentals got the site ready and open for your enjoyment.  And they continue to assist where needed as the pandemic drags on into 2022.

They have also implemented procedures to fully comply with Maryland regulations concerning rental properties in a COVID-19 world.  These include, but are not limited to:

• Renters still bring their own bed linens and towels, which ensures single use and sterilization.   This ensures a comfortable stay with our cozy blankets along with assurance of a sterile sleeping environment.
• Each guest still self-cleans their hut upon departure.  But now, in addition to spot checking in between rentals, the OLR team disinfects all surfaces in the hut and on the furniture.
• Each hut is provided with approved gel disinfectant for their own use.   Guests are welcome to take this disinfectant with them as a gift from OLR.
• Disinfectant is also provided at the bath house.   Additionally, the OLR team will disinfect the entire bath house once per week, generally prior to the weekend rental period.

Should you be traveling with an individual with a high risk of COVID-19 complications, please contact OLR.  It may be possible to block the hut for an additional 2 days at no cost so that there is sufficient vacant time prior to your arrival.  This may not be possible on all dates, but we will do our best to accommodate your request.

Beth and Dan are planning to travel to America as much as possible to continue to bring you some of those personal touches and new features.  In the meantime, please enjoy your stay with us in the beautiful and spacious mountains of Western Maryland!
